Whenever you call the practice, you will speak to one of our assistants. She will ask for the reason you want to make an appointment with the doctor. Therefore she will need to ask you some questions, regarding the complaints you have. This is called triage.
Triage is a way of safely managing increasing demands, while also meeting patients understandable desires for a timely response to their request for healthcare. The purpose is to ensure that the patient is referred to the appropriate doctor for the appropriate level of care and within an appropriate period of time.
